A Prologue of My Blog
Since the fall of
2023, I’ve desired nothing other than to learn the Word of God and
build a personal relationship with the Creator of the Universe and my
Father. I love God with all my heart, mind, and soul as His servant
and son. I can never repay Jesus Christ for what He has done for me
by willingly sacrificing His perfect, unblemished life as the Lamb of
God, saving me from death. All I have to offer is a life in service
to God, for the grace he's given me by the blood of Christ, who has
redeemed me from the pit of hell. I love talking about God, Jesus,
and salvation, and am deeply grateful to Him for revealing His truth
to me in scripture.
The good news
of the Gospel is that, despite a life filled with sin, Christ has
given me a gift I do not deserve: eternal life in the kingdom of
Heaven on earth. However, to receive this gift, I had to complete the
five steps to salvation. I repented and sought forgiveness from God
in the name of Jesus Christ through many prayers and tears, and I was
baptized. It took me many years as a believer to understand that true
salvation requires a Christian to cease from sin. Two years ago, I
committed myself to learning the Word of God by reading Bible
scripture daily. My request for salvation was granted only when
Christ knew I would no longer sin in the flesh. He approved me and
gave me the Holy Spirit as a gift, companion, and friend. Every
Christian is required to share the good news of the Gospel with
everyone who’s willing to listen, and we should never be ashamed to
talk about our faith. I like teaching and helping others, and anyone
who has worked with me knows this is what I do. This is my spiritual
gift.
The Bible was not an easy book to read
at first. Each time I tried to follow a Bible study plan or read
recommended scripture, I would soon set it down due to a lack of
understanding and boredom. There is so much information contained in
scripture, and unless you know what’s important and what’s not,
it can be overwhelming and confusing. My mom advised me to always
read the chapter before and after any scripture for proper context,
and I continue to rely on that wisdom. I’m forbidden from
interpreting and replacing His words with mine, as every minister of
Christ is instructed to do. If we disobey this rule, God’s wrath
will fall upon the false teacher or prophet; that’s what scripture
tells us.
Praying to God for wisdom,
understanding, and truth opened my ability to read the Bible as I
would any other book. Consequently, the Bible became my favorite
book! I chose the NKJV Bible to learn the Word of God and to teach
effectively. I was familiar with this version, as it has always been
the Bible of my family and church. I believe the words within it are
meant to be read plainly in any age, as they are written. For
example, the phrase ‘execute wrath’ has a different meaning today
than it did 2,000 years ago. I can Google the word "wrath,"
which means extreme anger; it doesn’t mean killing. I did research
some original Greek texts for clarification at times, but I tend to
go with the newer definition of words.
I
consider myself a servant of God and a minister of the Gospel. The
Holy Spirit has taught me the Word of God over the last two years; as
a Christian, I strive to be truthful and stand by every word I write
and say. I believe that everything a believer needs to seek and
obtain salvation is contained in one book, the Bible. Its content is
the foundation of my discourses. I’ve shared my testimony of faith,
but my journey to salvation and redemption was not typical; I made
many errors and mistakes along the way. I hope that my experiences
will help others develop a deep and much quicker personal
relationship with Father God. I have a wealth of information to share
with those who are interested or curious about God.
Before
I began reading the Bible, I explored other religious texts, such as
the Book of Mormon and its accompanying literature; I was surprised
by what I encountered, but I learned a great deal about their
religion and found significant truths within their beliefs. Joseph
Smith, their founder, holds that Adam and the Archangel Michael are
the same spirit. I could possibly accept this belief because it
doesn't contradict scripture. Additionally, I read Apocrypha texts
such as the Book of Enoch, along with other writings associated with
the Apocalypse, End Times, and the Day of the Lord. I grew up
fascinated with the Book of Revelation and movies and TV shows about
the occult, like The Omen and The Exorcist. I’m also a huge Star
Trek fan and have always believed in alien life outside our world.
I’ve read the books about Greek and Roman mythology and the gods.
Even now, I enjoy watching these types of shows. I have a vivid
imagination and a logical mind, always seeking the truth and answers
to my questions. I’m also grounded in science and facts; for
example, I do not believe the Earth is 6,000 years old. I believe
that Adam and Eve were formed 6,000 years ago as unique creations of
God, as His own people.
I don’t see God the
way many others do. After reading numerous testimonies of faith, I’ve
yet to encounter anyone who describes their relationship with Him in
quite the same manner. I’m sure there are other Christians with
similar relationships, but I’m not sure. I’ve led a quiet life
with my wife and dog while studying the Bible, and I don’t
socialize much due to my limitations. My Father God is a source of
joy, companionship, and even humor. He’s sarcastic, witty, and
wise, and he really loves animals. His favorite color is blue, and no
one can paint the sky like Him; He created every artist who ever
lived. He has a passion for riddles, puzzles, and ciphers. God also
created astrology and numerology; He placed the stars in the heavens.
God is a master programmer, and our DNA is His code. Everything, both
good and evil, originated from Him. He’s a jealous God who knows
every human emotion, like pain, suffering, sickness, love, joy, and
happiness. We were created in the image of Jesus Christ to live with
Him on earth for eternity—that’s His promise. God chose the earth
for His seventh day of rest, which translates to 1,000 years in human
time, 2000-3000 AD. This is the time of the Millennial Kingdom on
earth when Jesus will walk among us.
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
I found the key to understanding celestial time in 2
Peter 3:9. I believe the seven days of creation span 7,000 years
according to this scripture. One day in Heaven corresponds to 1,000
years in celestial time. When Christians talk about entering "God’s
Rest," they refer to the seventh day, or the final 1,000-year
period we are currently experiencing. The book of Revelation provides
no details about this period of rest in the kingdom; the primary
information is found in the book of Ezekiel, although other prophets
also discuss it. The apocrypha contains relevant information. Other
writers and 'prophets' like Jane Lead have written extensively about
it. I learned from scripture that God intends to reincarnate or
resurrect King David to lead the righteous people, serving under
Jesus Christ as His prince, right hand, and warrior. My education
about David primarily focused on the story of Goliath, his conquests,
and his sins of adultery and murder. I have come to understand that
King David is the most sincere and repentant sinner in the Bible; I
thoroughly enjoy reading the Psalms! I plan to write about these
topics, drawing on all sources of information that do not contradict
or alter biblical scripture.
The scientific
fossil record alone proves that humans inhabited the earth before
Adam's formation, unless it's a fabrication. When I write about the
two creations of man, I’ll reference scripture to support my
statements. Cain needed to be marked by God to protect him from other
men who might kill him, which serves as biblical evidence that other
men and women existed before Adam was formed. If I claim that the
earth is more than 6,000 years old as a Christian, I should provide
scriptural support. I can go to several museums to see the scientific
evidence.
Years ago, a Christian at my job
said his church had an answer for all of my questions about God, so I
asked him how dinosaurs and prehistoric humans fit into scripture.
The next day, he handed me a pamphlet that explained that fossils
were a creation of the Devil to draw people away from God, and
biblical scripture proves that the earth was 6,000 years old, based
on Adam. If I knew then what I know now, I would have told him to
thank the Devil for his forethought and deception, ensuring that we
have the fossil fuels we use today. The world is much older than many
Christians are willing to accept. I teach that the Bible is a
6,000-year-old record of God’s people and prophecy for the future
of earth and mankind.
I was fascinated by
prehistoric life as a child! I grew up in a Chicago suburb and
visited the Field Museum 15 to 20 times on school trips or through
the YMCA. These visits created some of my favorite memories, and I
still enjoy watching shows and movies about dinosaurs and prehistoric
humans. I have never fully accepted the concept of evolution, despite
the teachings I received in school. When I read the first two
chapters of Genesis, I have always understood them as presenting two
distinct accounts of the creation of man. This interpretation seemed
obvious to me, yet in church, we were taught that there was only one
account. The choice of words in scripture is significant; they offer
subtle clues that can lead you to the truth. I must emphasize that
the Bible contains everything a new believer or Christian needs for
salvation. There is no need for any additional books or religious
texts to discover the truth about God; anyone who claims otherwise is
misleading you. The Bible contains everything you need to learn about
our Creator, Father God, the King of the universe. I hope my personal
testimony will assist any repentant sinner seeking salvation and the
opportunity to live eternally with Christ in an indescribable Kingdom
and New Garden of Eden. This is God's gift of grace for all who love
Him by faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to the Divine law.
Now, I consider the Bible a 'perfect' book,
inspired by the true word of God, although I acknowledge that it
contains some contradictions and errors. In 2023, I was still quite
critical and dismissive of the text because I was unsure about what
was truly important to read. I also admit that I didn’t enjoy
reading it at first; I found it challenging to understand and often
confusing. However, I have come to understand that the Bible was
written exactly as it was intended for a specific purpose, our
salvation; it was written to be understood by people of faith. People
often forget that God enjoys riddles, numbers, ciphers, and puzzles;
He also created numerology and uses it throughout the Bible.
Scripture forewarns us that unbelievers and the wicked will perceive
the Word of God as gibberish and nonsense, and this is precisely
God's intention. For believers and Christians, the meaningful and
relevant scriptures leap from the page, without any contradictions or
errors. The Word of God speaks clearly to us while confusing and
confounding unbelievers. First, I had to pray for wisdom,
understanding, and the truth; then my ability to read scripture
became stronger. I found that prayer is the key to unlocking the
mystery of God and the wisdom contained within the Bible! The words
and scriptures I use in my discourses will always convey His truth.
The Bible lacks a lot of information;
however, this missing information has nothing to do with our
salvation. Critics and non-believers often highlight discrepancies
and contradictions in scripture to challenge religion, asserting that
it is a false doctrine and a fantasy meant to manipulate and control
society. We tend to fill in these information gaps with fabricated
stories, myths, fables, and lies. I wish God would answer every
question I have, but it doesn’t work that way. Even Jesus was not
told when He would return. When I compared my understanding of God
from my brief time attending church to what I learned from reading
the Bible myself, I discovered significant contradictions. For
instance, upon reading the Second Commandment in the NKJV Bible, I
realized that we are not supposed to create images of things in
Heaven or Hell. I had never really considered this law, as the
imagery in our churches led me to assume it was approved by God.
Consequently, I decided to use a simple cross, without Christ, to
represent His sacrifice on the cross and the only path to salvation,
along with two doves to symbolize the two witnesses of God. Both of
these symbols are of the earth: a tree and doves.
I
chose the title “Solid Food for Thought” for my weekly blog
because the topics I discuss will require unconventional thinking.
I’ve explored many of the books in the Apocrypha, the Book of
Mormon, and its associated literature, as well as other religious and
Gnostic texts. Over the past two years, the Bible has been my sole
religious text, and I’ve come to understand that numerous
significant writings outside of it align with biblical scripture. I’m
free to incorporate these works into my writing; however, I must
ensure that my content does not contradict biblical scripture. While
I don’t have answers to every question I have about God, I do
perceive things from a different perspective. I value scientific
evidence, particularly when it supports biblical scripture. Although
I'm not an expert in any specific field, I possess a basic
understanding of a variety of subjects.
If I
suggest that Eve was cloned from Adam, it doesn't alter the fact that
she was created by God, from a rib. Did you know that the rib is the
only bone in the body that can fully regenerate? I found this
scientific fact quite fascinating. I also firmly believe that God
created both man and woman without any genetic mutations and pure
DNA. We often hear this assertion from anti-gay and transphobic
Christians to claim that homosexuality and gender are a choice. While
that is true for some LGBTQ individuals, it doesn't apply to them
all. Whether it's psychological, physiological, or both, there is a
segment of our population who exist. There are 80 to 130 million
intersex individuals in the world who are not exclusively male or
female, and I am grateful that Jesus Christ did not condemn
homosexuality.
Let me provide a simple example about
homosexuality vs. heterosexuality.
Who would God judge
the harshest?
The homosexual Christian who
practiced celibacy or monogamy their entire life.
or
The
heterosexual Christian who commits adultery or who is sexually
active.
I'll write
about topics like this using every source of information I have. My
first blog will be about the 'Two types of sheep'. I still have two
more discourses to write on the book of Revelation and the Millennial
Kingdom. These are the last foundational writings for this church. I
look forward to sharing insights through this weekly blog about God,
Jesus, the Kingdom, and the challenging times we are currently
facing. I believe that the first seal of Revelation has opened,
ushering in perilous times. But there is also good news about this
time of restoration for the body of Christ and all Christians. I will
share insights about my personal relationship with God and the Holy
Spirit, as developing this personal connection is the guiding
principle of Thine Universal Church. God has empowered me to read,
understand, and teach His Word with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Learning how to pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ is the first
useful lesson. Prayer is the most important time for a Christian to
open their heart to God, King of the Universe, and our Creator.
I
want to clarify that my goal is not to glorify myself or cultivate a
following. I steer clear of subscriptions and sign-up pages. I'm not
seeking followers, likes, or mentions, although these are typical
elements of social media. I am not selling anything or trying to
create an income stream; I only promote the Gospel and my faith. I
prefer to speak through my blog and online posts and not in video
chats or public settings. My purpose and primary goal are to glorify,
edify, and elevate the Word of God to all people who want to listen.
Have a blessed day!
